Walk to School Day - Friday

We’re excited to invite all our families to join us for Walk to School Day on Friday, April 11th! This is a fun and healthy way to start the day together as a school community. We’ll be meeting at the corner of Deer Flat and Ten Mile at 8:20 AM and walking to school as a group. Whether you walk every day or this is your first time, we’d love to see you there—bring your walking shoes, smiles, and school spirit!

Dear Parents of Incoming Kindergarteners,

We want to let you know that the Kindergarten Open House has been moved from Wednesday, April 16th, to Wednesday, May 21st.

The time remains the same, from 2 to 6 p.m. We look forward to meeting you and your child for a tour of the school on May 21.

Why the change?

Our elementary school attendance zones are being reviewed, and final decisions will be made at the May 13th Kuna School Board meeting.

Although we expect only minor adjustments to the zones, we want to make sure you know which school your child will attend before the Open House.

Parent University: Kindergarten 101

We also invite you to a Parent University event on Monday, April 28, at 6:30 p.m. at Swan Falls High School. This session is designed to help parents learn more about kindergarten and school and answer any questions you may have.

Key Dates:

Monday, April 28 - 6:30 p.m.: Parent University: Kindergarten 101, Swan Falls High School

Wednesday, May 21 - 2 to 6 p.m.: Kindergarten Open House, tour the school with your child

Tuesday, Aug. 19 - 4 to 6 p.m.: Back-to-School Open House, meet teachers, drop off supplies

Thursday, Aug. 21: First day of school!
