Spring AMIRA Testing 📚 Next Week

It is time for our final AMIRA Reading Assessment of the year! Our Wildcats have worked so hard on their reading goals, and this is their chance to show off how much they’ve grown. We will be testing next week on Monday, May 4th and Tuesday, May 5th .
To help your student feel confident and ready to do their best, please keep these "Success Tips" in mind:

  • Catch Some Z's: Ensure your child gets plenty of restful sleep the night before.
  • Fuel Up: A healthy, filling breakfast helps keep brains sharp and focused.
  • Be on Time: Arriving at school on time helps students start the day feeling calm rather than rushed.
  • Power Up with Love: Send them off with a big hug and words of encouragement! A little extra love goes a long way in shaking off testing jitters.
We are so proud of our students and can't wait to see their progress! 🐾

Level Up Our Teachers: Staff Appreciation Week! 🎮

It’s time to celebrate our "MVP" staff! Next week, May 4th–8th, is Teacher Appreciation Week. Our amazing PTA and Sunshine Committee have a full week of "fun and games" planned to pamper our team, and we’d love for our Wildcat families to join the celebration!

Let’s work together to make sure our staff knows they are the ultimate winners in our book!

🐾 Supporting One of Our Own: Charlie’s Journey

Our Wildcat family is stronger when we stand together, and right now, one of our students needs our support. Charlie, a brave 1st grader, was recently diagnosed with stage D Retinoblastoma in her right eye.

To receive the specialized care she needs, Charlie and her family must travel from Kuna to Seattle every 2-3 weeks for months of treatment. As you can imagine, the costs for travel, lodging, and medical bills are mounting quickly.

How You Can Help
We are inviting our families to join us in lifting the financial burden from Charlie’s parents, Richard and Katie, so they can focus entirely on her health and recovery.
  • Donate: Any contribution helps cover travel and treatment costs.
  • Pay it Forward: Any funds not used for Charlie’s care will be donated to Seattle Children’s Hospital in her name.
  • Share: Even if you cannot donate, sharing her story helps reach others who can.

Charlie has an incredible spirit. Let’s show her the full power of our Wildcat pride!
