The Wildcat Weekly - Aug. 6th

Welcome Back, Wildcats!

Welcome Back

Hello Wildcats!

Welcome back to a brand new school year, Wildcats! We hope you had an incredible summer recharging and soaking up time together. A new school year is always a exciting fresh start, and we are so grateful to tackle all the big learning adventures ahead as a team. Together, we’re going to make this school year our best one yet! We can't wait to see you soon!

❤️Crimson Point Staff

Class Placements

Thank you for your patience as our class placements are still being finalized. On Monday, August 10th, parents and guardians can login to PowerSchool to find out who their child's teacher will be for the school year.

Our Class Placement Process
Please note that our staff puts a tremendous amount of care, thought, and intention into creating balanced, supportive learning environments for every student. When making placement decisions, we carefully weigh a wide variety of factors (including academic strengths, social-emotional needs, and classroom dynamics) to ensure every class is well-balanced and set up for success.

Because changes to one placement can impact the overall balance of an entire classroom, we are unable to accommodate individual request changes. Thank you for your trust and support as we work to create the best possible learning environment for all of our Wildcats!

Safety Procedures

reminders

Parking Lot Safety

  • NO drop-off/pick-up in the Bus Route.

  • No traffic or parking allowed in the Bus Route.

  • Please help our buses exit onto Shayla Avenue as quickly as possible to ensure accurate drop-off times for students.

  • Parents will ENTER and EXIT through the entrance off Shayla. Please follow the arrows and the flow of traffic and be patient with one another.

  • Please pull FORWARD as far as you can. Students will use the sidewalk to reach your vehicle.

  • If you plan to get out of your vehicle, please pull into a visitor parking stall. Do not get out in the drop-off/pick-up line.

  • NO PARKING in the Staff Parking Lot on the South side of the building. Exiting traffic from this lot causes congestion and safety concerns.

  • If you are planning to park and pick up your student, please park in the Visitor Parking Lot and walk to the sidewalk to get your student.

Playground & Field

PLAYGROUND & FIELD (drop-off & pick-up) - For the first two days of school, we invite families onto campus to walk students to their classroom doors and say goodbyes. However, beginning Monday, August 17th, we ask that families drop-off and pick-up students from BEHIND the fence/gate. The field, blacktop areas, and classroom doors should remain clear during the hours of 8:00-4:00pm. Feel free to congregate out front and anywhere outside the fenced and gated areas. Please help us by staying consistent with morning and afternoon drop-off and pick-up routines.

DOGS - All dogs must be on a leash at all times during school hours, including drop-off and pick-up. If you choose to bring your dog or other pet to enjoy the playground or field, please make sure it is not during school hours (8:00-4:00pm) and that you clean up after it.

We appreciate your help with these school routines, as we know they may take some time to get used to. The safety of our students and staff is top priority, so thank you for your support as we work to keep our playground and surrounding areas as safe as possible. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you!
Mrs. Clemens

Bus Information

Transportation & Bus Routes
Q: When will my child's bus stop be available? Where can I find the route and schedule?
A: This year we are excited to offer a new tool for parents to track their child's bus in real time!
We are thrilled to bring BusRight to our families this upcoming school year! BusRight is an easy-to-use school bus tracking app. It lets parents see their child's bus location in real time. Parents can also get estimated arrival times and instant updates on delays. Students will pick up their bus pass at their school.

  • In August: Parents will get an invitation email. It will have instructions on how to set up your BusRight account.
  • Before School Starts: Your child's specific bus stops and schedules will be available in two places:
  1. BusRight app: Download the app from Google Play or the Apple iOS store.
  2. PowerSchool: Log in and click on the Transportation tab. There, you can see your child's bus number, stop location, and exact pickup/drop-off times.
