Embracing The Ascent: A Strong Start for Our Wildcats 🐾

The Ascent
What an incredible first full week of school! I couldn't be prouder of our students, parents, and staff for making our transition back to campus so seamless. Your energy, support, and school spirit truly show why our school community is the best around. As we dive into the year ahead, I am excited to introduce our theme for the 2026–2027 school year: The Ascent. Just like climbing a mountain, growth takes determination, teamwork, and resilience. Throughout this year, we will climb together and grow together, supporting one another through every challenge and celebrating every milestone along the way. Thank you for your partnership as we embark on this exciting journey upward!

The Wildcat Way: Living Our GRRR Expectations! 🐾

We had a fantastic and productive week learning all about our newly refreshed GRRR expectations! As part of The Wildcat Way, our students have been discovering what it means to lead with positive behavior every single day across campus:
  • G – Growth Mindset
  • R – Respect Always
  • R – Responsible
  • R – Rise to the Challenge
We encourage you to ask your Wildcats at home what GRRR looks like in their classroom and how they’re practicing these values every day. Thank you for partnering with us to build a positive, supportive community!

Show Your Spirit Every Wildcat Wednesday! 🐾

Get ready to show off your school pride! Every Wednesday, our students and staff wear their favorite Wildcat gear or school colors for our weekly Wildcat Wednesday tradition. It's a fun, easy way for our school community to come together and show off our Wildcat pride.

Need some new gear to refresh your wardrobe for the year? Check out the Spirit Wear section below to visit our PTA Spirit Store! You can shop a variety of fun styles for the whole family, with all proceeds directly supporting our school. Don't wait! The online store closes on September 4th!

Lace Up for Walk to School Day! 👟

Lace up your sneakers and join us for our first Walk to School Day of the school year on Friday, August 28th! Walking together is a fantastic way to start the day energized. Grab your walking shoes, meet up with friends along your route, and let’s make it a fun, active morning for our entire school community!

Safety First: Practicing Our Emergency Response Drills 🛡️

Safety is our top priority! This week, Mrs. Clemens, Mrs. Pond, and Detective Casey visited every classroom to review our emergency responses with students. We also put our training into practice by successfully completing our first evacuation and reverse evacuation drills of the school year. They walked through our safety procedures step-by-step so every Wildcat knows exactly what to do to stay safe, calm, and prepared. We are so proud of how attentive and responsible our students were!
